What is The Jochebed Project?

Mission Statement:

Empowering young adults who feel uncertain about their values—whether those were taught to them or personally embraced—and who struggle to find direction for their future involves helping them reconnect with their inner child. By setting goals and receiving support from others, they can embrace the diversity and unity of all backgrounds to achieve their unique success. This journey will allow them to live their lives peacefully and be willing to share the knowledge they've gained with others.

The Jochebed Project is a program that supports young adults ages 18 to 25. The Jochebed Project firmly believes that tapping into one's inner child is the key to success. Children have powerful imagination and an immense capacity to absorb information. They are also known to be bolder and more daring than adults. Therefore, the project recommends that individuals unleash their imagination during goal setting and put their ideas on paper.

The Visual Purpose Plan is a crucial tool in initiating the goal-setting process in the project. It comprises a set of questions that motivate individuals to establish and accomplish their objectives. This plan encourages individuals to visualize their goals, jot them down on paper, and take actionable steps towards achieving them.

Once the goals are on paper, individuals are encouraged to meditate on them daily, express gratitude for their current situation, and seek emotional and mental support through peer counseling and many available resources at the Jochebed Project. The Jochebed Project provides resources, such as shelter. peer counseling, meals, bible study classes, arts and other activities, field trips, meals, cooking classes, and more. Shelter is also available to help members on their journey toward success.

While working on their purpose, individuals are encouraged to work with their peers in a supportive atmosphere. This prepares them to be comfortable and successful in dealing with others in the world.

It is our honor and passion to support individuals in our community. While our program is designed to reach young adults ages 18 to 25, we welcome volunteers of all ages who could bring their wisdom and unique ideas for our young adults in need. You are needed.  :)
